World Water Day - Organizations you can help today

On this World Water Day, we wanted to help readers with a list of trusted organizations that can help preserve water and oceans worldwide.

Ravi Kurani, Sutro’s CEO, has dedicated his career to water safety. He is also a Board Member of “Friends of the River,” a foundation dedicated to preserving and restoring California’s rivers, streams, and watersheds advocating sustainable water management.

“Sutro was designed to help save water, chemicals, and energy,” Kurani says. “This was Sutro’s commercial way to get started and be able to protect some of our water smartly in a big sector like the Pool industry.”

“Our product can help use fewer chemicals and even pair it with other products to prevent leakages.”

The company is also progressing to create sustainable product packaging and recycling Sutro units with a refurbishing program.

“It’s the industry's job to use technology to help the pool and water industry better manage our precious water resources.”

Here’s a list of water foundations he recommends to donate on this World Water Day:

  1. Friends of the River: A foundation dedicated to preserving and restoring California’s rivers, streams, and watersheds, as well as advocating for sustainable water management.

  2. The Ocean Foundation: A non-profit organization that works to protect and restore oceans and coastal communities worldwide.

World Water Day is a reminder of the importance of clean water.

Numerous organizations are working tirelessly to address water scarcity and pollution. Our small list is just a handful of these organizations that can make a significant difference in the lives of those who lack access to clean water.

By contributing to these water foundations, we can help ensure a sustainable future for both people and the planet.
